Haluzice, located 10km northeast from Nové Mesto n/V and 32km from Myjava, in the “Bošáčka” micro-region, which is a part of our “Kopaničiarsky” region, is with its 68 citizens the smallest village of our region. Even though it´s so small, it can offer various attractions to the tourists.

Stará Turá is a small town of 9172 citizens located at the centre of the “Kopaničiarsky“ region. It was first mentioned in 1392- a hundred years before the discovery of America and it was ratified in 1467 when town locals caught the bandit Ján Švehla.

The village of Košariská is well known throughout Slovakia for being the birthplace of Milan Rastislav Štefánik – a famous Slovak patriot. This picturesque village is located in beautiful, natural, scenery composed of the Myjava highlands and the Small Carpathians. The first written reference to the village is dated in 1786. Nowadays, there are over 430 people living in Košariská. The current mayor, Anna Abramovičová has been running the village for more than 13 years.

Geographically, Myjava is situated  in the western part of Slovakia, but this town belongs to  theTrenčín region, which is part of Central Slovakia. It is a district city. It is located in the hills of Myjava, and at the foothills of the White Carpathian and the nearby the Little Carpathian Mountains. The river Myjava flows through the town. It is 10 km away from the Czech border and 100 km from Bratislava. The area is 48.54 km2 and the population is about 11 893. Myjava is divided into 21 sectors. 

Brezová pod Bradlom is a small town in the Myjava district, Trenčín region, in the western foothills of the Little Carpathians. The territory of Brezová pod Bradlom appears in written records for the first time in 1263. It lays approximately 80 km from the capital city, Bratislava.
